I Am A Business Networker
The moment I mention this, most of you will come up with your own definition of "Network Marketing", or the most common word "MLM".
Before I share what I'm doing as a Business Networker, I need to highlight few points .
- I'm NOT doing / promoting any SCAM !
- I'm NOT promising anyone that I can make them rich !
- I'm NOT going to MAKE USE any of you to become rich !
- I'm NOT assure you that what i'm doing will suit you too !
- I'm NOT playing money game/huge investment activities
- I'm NOT doing any illegal activities / Business against law
For the past 15 years, I'd came across and explored many Networking & MLM businesses. From a RM 89 start up model "A" business till RM 33K investment "Mc" business.
Any business registered with KPDNKK under "Akta Jualan Langsung" are legal to run their operations. Each MLM (Multi Level Marketing) & Network Marketing companies has their unique Products and Marketing Plans. They have a good products, testimonials and Achievers. So this industry suppose be a positive path for everyone, Yet WHY many of us fails and become Anti-MLM / MLMphobia ?
MLM & Network Marketing are NOT A SCAM
Why people become Anti - MLM & phobia when someone approach them for a business opportunity ? How does the World's proven Passive Income Earning System , A well Recognized Money Making Machine accepted by famous people like Robert Kiyosaki , Warren Buffet , Donald Trump , Bill Gates become fear for many ?
Based on my Own experience, I believe there are few factors that creates the Negative impact and bad experience about MLM / Network Marketing. I'm NOT a Business Network Expert, the statements below are my personal opinions and views.
Invest big amount of money in MLM/Network Marketing, expect a big returns but end up losing the money can cause a phobia towards MLM industries. I personally experienced it. I did McOcean/SD business 3 years ago. The initial investment was RM 2K +, after "Forced" to attend M&U I been "brainwashed" to invest RM33K ( Thank God I didn't invest the full amount, yet I lost few 'K').
I realized that many "partners" who joined and invested the "RM 33K" kinda forced get their 5 SP to invest the big amount so they can get back their money. Lots of "Fantasy" "Tee up" stories been created ( I get to know the facts after I left that business) to attract the new partners. What I realized was, rather then build a healthy Network, many of them focusing to get 5 people to invest RM 33K , so the Introducer can get back the invested money + achieve the Challenger KP level. No wonder some "PP" also still running to get new partners. They suppose have a big network which generate passive income for them, and they focusing on Coaching their "downlines" and enjoying the luxury life.
So, the question is WHY we need to invest big amount? When we invested so much of amount, will we focus on building a healthy network or worry bout get back the money ? Rather then be a Good Network Leader, become Greedy "Upline"
The whole fault not on such MLM companies, but in Us too. We become too greedy in the subject of money and wealth. Put Big investment in MLM, expecting big returns, we often forget that the RISK also will be BIG. We should instead grow our network with small / affordable / reasonable and Logical investments.
We Should take the responsibility for our failure and learn from that.
DO NOT TAKE HUGE PERSONAL LOANS, MORTGAGE LOANS, OR OTHER TYPE OF LOANS TO START YOU MLM / NETWORK MARKETING.
Taking Risk in Life is good, but puting your self in Lion's cage is stupidity.

3. Poor / Selfish Leaders
Each and everyday we being approach by many people for many kind of businesses. Its could be our Friends, Relatives, Facebook Friends or even Strangers. If we looking for an opportunity, We should be open for them to explain their business. More often we looking into the Company, Products, Marketing Plans and their Results, there is another important element that we should consider. The Credibility of the person who approach you. Is he/she can be a good leader, who can able to guide you in any Challeges, work together with you and able to understand your situations. Can you Trust Him/Her.
Many so called "Leaders" behave like Bosses toward their downlines (or network partners). No mater who the "leaders" are, how much they earn or achieved, they don't have any rights to "disrespect" , "Insult" , or "make use" of their downlines. MLM/Network marketing is an Independent Business where No one Boss for another.
One of the factor that many Fail in the MLM because of poor/selfish leadership, either they are not capable to lead us, or being greedy for money. When you are new to a business, an Ideal leader could able to identify your Strength and Weakness, guide you to success, advice when needed and always be a Good friend and motivator. Leader should lead you by example, Not backstabbing you. Not focus on how to put you on debt, but How to make you earn.
A good leader guide everyone equal, Not just His/Her own family and close friends.
4. Fake Stories & Promises
One of the factor attract us towards a MLM business is The "Results". We can't denies that many people achieved in MLM / Network Marketing businesses. Every MLM companies has their REAL success stories, But what I would like to mention here is about "REEL (Fake) Success Stories". People who just target to adding "Numbers" in their network & earn fast money, Usually come up with their own fake success stories. Luxury cars & houses often become their proves of being successful. I personally knows some of my ex MLM partners ( who are in the KP ranks) bought luxury 2nd cars for 70% - 100% loans. Pay a booking fee for a big house, and claim their bought new properties. They shows the world how successful & Wealthy they are just to attract more people towards them.
This kind of fake stories gives us a hope. If the hope turns into positive way is good, but what happen was when it turn into negative way. We lost the hope when we get to know the real story, and start to claim that MLM is FAKE...
Wealth is not about buying luxury items and increase your debt. Ultimate goal in MLM or Network Marketing is " Financial Freedom ". Rather then showing off you 2nd BMW & Merc (Which is really belongs to the bank) to attract people, Show them your Financial Freedom, at-least 90% out of debt life, A good amount of Savings and number of Investments. A Good successful MLM Networker owns a Passive Income & Savings which is few times higher then his expenses, A valuable Time Freedom.
5. Time
We usually see those involve in the MLM industries spend most of their time for the business. Start from Morning until late night busy with networking, prospecting and appointments.
When I was in the previous MLM company, Every weekday after 7PM, I spend for the business in the name of "Office commitment", often had very late night dinner.
In our career jobs, "Hardworking" is important to produce a profitable result, which will increase your salary, bonuses and other benefits. But MLM / Network Marketing mean to be a "Smartworking" platform.
Mostly MLM / Network Marketing become our 'Plan B', whereby we have our full time job. We spend time for the Plan B after our working hours and weekends. If we didn't plan our time properly, day by day we become tired and restless, and slowly stop committing for business.
We can spend 8 hours to earn RM 200, OR 2 Hours to Earn RM 800. It's depend where there you working Hard or Smart. If you're Full timer in the MLM / Network Marketing, doesn't mean you have to occupy your whole day for the business. Don't neglect your time for your family, beloved one and your health. You have no time to take your meal on time, rather you go back to your career job which has fixed Lunch hour.
MLM / Network Marketing is a profitable long term business platforms. The success of this industry is proven and accepted by many successful people in the world.
You can claim your self you are a Anti-MLM and Network Business, but Our daily life depending on this network.
The easy way to explain is, when We like a service or products, We will recommend to our friends, family and relatives. most of the time we doing a Free advertisement for these services and products. It's happen in our daily life, But when we do that for a "Commission" Or "Profit Sharing", we are stepping into this Multi level Marketing / Network Marketing industry.
Without This Networking concept, there won't be any Microsoft, HP, Dell, Apple or even social medias like Facebook, Tweeter.
The Philosophy of MLM / Network Marketing is "Grow and success by helping others to achieve" NOT make use others to be rich.
I still never give up in this Industry, as I'm fully aware MLM is the perfect platform which can give a Financial Freedom and Generates Passive Income for Generations
I'd discovered another MLM/Network Marketing company which is more transparent and genuine.
1. It's a Registered Company with approved halal certs for it's products
2. Low investments as RM 303 (With products worth more then this amount) Or and optional " Not A Forced Choice" of Stokis Plan worth RM 6K (With products worth more then this amount). NO OTHER HIDDEN PLANS.
3. Good, Responsible Leaders, Trustworthy who can work as a TEAM
4. Flexible hours of Business - No Compulsory Office Commitments
5. Easy and Effective Marketing Plan, Products, Testimonials and other Members benefits.
Moreover a business which I can do Transparently.

There are lots of companies which NOT Registered with KPDNKK running their Pyramid Schemes in Malaysia. Every MLM & Network Marketing companies required to register under "AJL" (Akta Jualan Langsung Dan Skim Anti Piramid 1993 ).
" 4. (1) Tertakluk kepada seksyen 14 dan 42, tiada seorang pun
boleh menjalankan apa-apa perniagaan jualan langsung melainkan
jika ia suatu syarikat yang diperbadankan di bawah Akta Syarikat
1965 dan memegang lesen yang sah yang diberikan di bawah
seksyen 6 "
Even the Online Businesses
Jualan melalui transaksi elektronik
19a. (1) Tiada seorang pun boleh membekalkan secara jualan,
atau mengiklankan untuk membekalkan, melalui transaksi
elektronik, apa-apa barang-barang atau perkhidmatan kecuali
mengikut Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan

So when someone approach us for a business opportunity, we should check their company/business background, where there it's legally registered. (There are some registered companies doing Scams, at least we might able to take legal actions if needed). It's our rights to ask their company detail, background and accept/reject the offer.
There is a company called "McOcean" (Formerly known as "Mcren" and some other names) & their sole distributors "Steady Dynasty (SD)" will never reveal their company/business name till you "go to office" , but McOcean is registered under "AJL" too (just a AJL license, NOT "anak angkat kpdnkk crab all, please take note"). Avoiding illegal companies will save your money and time.
